Monuments of the Albanian Epic / In December 2011, on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the Albanian Army and the Ministerial Defense A5, this artistic event was held, conceived upon the most salient elements of the Albanian folklore. Attending this event were the NATO Supreme Admiral for Europe, Defense Ministers of the region, many ambassadors and other senior officials. These monuments of Albanian culture were displayed for the guests in a highly sophisticated manner. Through "3D projection-mapping" technology, a scenography was set up, based on visual elements conceived beforehand, for each number.
Also, with a view to enhance the visual experience, the projection was designed to be interactive and adjustable live, according to the performance of each artistic piece.
Motion sensors were attached to the dancers’ bodies so that their body movement had an immediate impact on the projected image. Infrared light and sensors responsive to body temperature were also used. Audio and musical information, which was played live on stage, was connected to the system so that every sound reacted to color, brightness or magnitude of the projected image at the same time.
This event was the first of its kind in Albania to use this technology and has thus far been the only one, because of the high technical and professional difficulty. Kube Studios is still the only company to offer such high level service.
The main part of the technical material was brought from abroad, but above all, this event was attended by Hollywood artists, among which Ergin Kuke, Bart Kresa, David Beaudry, etc.
