Pan's Microbrewery
Brand Identity & Packaging Design
Enjoy a cold beer in a fresh and brand new visual identity.

Pan’s Microbrewery offers artisanal beers drawing inspiration from American-style IPA beers, bringing a light and cheerful taste to their products. We reflected this product experience to the visual identity we created for the brand and their packaging design for Vagabond and Siringha.

Drawing inspiration from the brand’s name Pan, that refers to the Greek demi-god of nature, fertility often correlated to Jupiter, represented by a half-human, half-horned animal statue, unusual for Greek culture, we created a symbol resembling the universality of the figure and nominated through a symbolic perspective its figure and what it represents: nature, duality, and pleasure.

Pan’s Microbrewery produces unfiltered beer, and we wanted to integrate this aspect of the beer’s quality into the visual identity of the brand itself and products. Hence, we used a palette, reminiscent of older times, and a rawer appeal to the fonts.

When it came to bottle packaging, we knew where the visualization starting point would be and it was indeed all about storytelling. Hence we worked with the mythological-infused imagery and ornaments, since Pan’s story connects to Siringha and the Vagabond as literary tropes. So, we build this concept of showcasing the characters, matching it to what the beer’s spirit metaphorically embodies.
