In 2023, the Venetian Tower transformed into the Heritage Information Center in Durrës, welcoming the public with many multimedia installations that showcase diverse technologies and incorporate cutting-edge museological trends.
The Venetian Tower emerges as a hub of historical narratives, extending across pivotal historical epochs that have shaped Durrës as a significant urban center and its inhabitants.
We envisioned it as an interactive museum space and created engaging and educational interactive content, transforming the tower into both an educational resource and a source of entertainment. Serving as an information hub linking all archaeological sites in Durrës, the tower adopts a technologically driven approach that aligns with international trends in museology,
This collaborative project, undertaken as a crucial aspect of the musealisation process in partnership with UNOPS and the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation in Albania, is an integral component of the EU4Culture initiative. Its primary objective is to champion and preserve Albania's rich cultural and historical heritage.
